Archives Information:

The Cabrillo College Archives was created to collect, preserve, and make available records and documents of the Cabrillo College community. The Archives serves as an   information source for students, faculty, staff, and administration, as well as to the general public. Materials are retrieved from the Archives by library staff and can be examined in the Reference area. Archvies materials may not be removed from the building but some materials may be photocopied. Cabrillo College administration, faculty, and staff may be escorted to the Archives by librarian or staff member on duty.

Searching for Materials in the Archives:

The materials in the Archives are available via the Library's Online Public Access Catalog or OPAC:

1. From the OPAC main menu, select Keyword and type a key word (i.e. facilities, sabbatical reports, etc.).

2. Limit the list to Archives materials by clicking on the upper-right button: "Limit the Search".

3. Next, click on drop-down menu arrow:: "WHERE Item is located" and highlight "Archives".

4. Finally click on "Limit/sort items retrieved using above data". This will limit your original list to Archives only materials.
 


Library Staff: Please return materials for reshelving in the Archives to the Archives mailbox, located in the library mail area.
