eBooks are electronic versions of printed books. There are nearly five thousand eBooks available through the Cabrillo College Library Catalog, and more are coming.

You can read the library's eBooks from any computer connected to the Internet. Since eBooks are online, they are available at your convenience -- anywhere, anytime. eBooks are "checked out" to you for the period of time you are actively using them, and then are "returned" for the next user. Only one reader at a time can read an eBook online.

Using eBooks from Cabrillo College campus computers (Aptos or Watsonville) is easy. No passwords or user names are necessary. When you find them as you search the Library Catalog for materials on your topic, just click through to read them!

In order to use eBooks from computers off campus, you need to have your own password and username which you created while you were on campus.

  • If you are on campus now -- go to NetLibrary <http://www.netlibrary.com> Click on "Create an account" (over on right). Write down your user name and password so you don't forget them!
  • If you are off campus now -- be sure to create an account for yourself next time you're on campus!
