Let's say you're at a meeting and your supervisor mentions Richards v Wisconsin, 1997 in relation to possibly obtaining a no-knock warrent. You'd like to remind yourself what Richards v Wisconsin, 1997 was about. Find the case on the Web and supply a brief summary:

Where did you find the case?

Briefly summarize the important points of the case that relate to no-knock warrents.

You are putting together a task group that will plan how your police unit can better reach out to Hispanic gangs. You want to prepare a PowerPoint presentation to help orient everyone to the task. To get ideas, you would like to see other PowerPoint presentations on the topic. Find some good ones. Copy and paste the URL for one you like.

You have heard people refer to an organization called FlexYourRights -- flexyourrights.org. You visit their Web site. Who is the person who bought that domain name?

Find the annual report for crime statistics posted by the Santa Cruz Police Department on their Web site. Comparing 2005 to 2004, what types of crimes have increased by more than 10%?

Someone emails you at the police station to ask where they can report an incident of phishing. What Web site can they go to? What's its URL?

You're on the Internet, your textbook is out in the car, and you want to remind yourself what "fruit of the poisonous tree doctrine" is. What's an easy way to find a definition of that concept on the Web? Describe what you did.

You are working with several other officers on a project to control graffiti in Santa Cruz. Someone tells you about a graffiti artist named Marc Ecko who's in a video where he talks about graffiti and tagging as being art. Sounds interesting. You'd like to watch it. Where can you do that?
