Internet Resources
The Foundation Center
The major Internet grants resource is The Foundation Center (fdncenter.org), a publisher of information about philanthropic organizations, as well as an authoritative resource for the grant-seeker. The Foundation Center's Web site is extensive, providing access to a broad range of electronic resources of interest.

The Foundation Center acquires, organizes, and disseminates information about grants and grantmakers. It is is headquartered in New York City, and maintains 4 regional research libraries, one of which is in San Francisco (312 Sutter Street, Room 312, San Francisco 94108-4314; 415-397-090).  The Foundation Center supports a network of cooperating collections -- smaller collections placed in various regions. The cooperating collection closest to this area is at the Seaside Branch Library (550 Harcourt St., Seaside 93955; 831-899-8131).
